TASML | Carroll Fletcher 中国艺术家海外驻留奖公开征集方案

本驻留计划向中国大陆,台湾,香港以及海外中国艺术家开放。 截止日期:2013年5月10日,申请文件必须使用英文,申请人须有英文交流能力。

在伦敦当代艺术画廊 Corroll / Fletcher 画廊的支持下,TASML 宣布新一轮中国艺术家国际驻留奖的设立。本奖项旨在为新兴中国媒体艺术家提供独特的机会,进入若干国际上极具创新力的媒体艺术及设计实验室, 从事在艺术及科技交叉学科间的前沿性研究和创作。自2013年3月至2015年2月, 每年将通过项目公开选拔向2位中国艺术家颁发该奖。本奖项还与“夏季驻留:国际(媒体艺术)人才网”合作,将使得奖艺术家有机会量体裁衣,从全球合作实验室自选对口实验室进入驻留。得奖人将获得奖金用以制作,旅费,住宿及生活开支。

Summer Sessions 驻留项目申请
TASML与Summer Sessions合作并在Carroll Flethcer 驻留奖资金支持下,推出Summer Sessions 驻留计划并与即日起征集艺术家方案。
Summer Sessions是一个面向事业起步期艺术家的人才推进驻留计划。年龄在35岁以下或者毕业五年之内的艺术家都可以报名参加。这个为期6至8周 (具体时间根据资金情况适当调整)的驻留流计划将于6月1日到9月30日之间开展。
艺术家须在2013年5月10日之前通过提交一个2分钟视频的方式申请这一驻留项目。在视频中请做出项目简介,提出所需要的支持方式及类型,并表明为什么你有资格成为Summer Sessions中的一份子。
这个驻留项目的运行机制是利用艺术机构支持本国艺术家到外国伙伴机构进行驻留。 每个艺术家都致力于一个可展出的驻留成品的制作当中 。艺术家只有在本国艺术机构是人才网计划一员的前提下才可申请这个驻留项目。

申请请遵照以下流程:
1. 1. 创作2分钟视频以介绍你的项目
2. 2. 上传视频与youtube或者vimeo。 请注意在 youtube上你可以将视频设置为不公开,此视频将只能以URL方式访问。在vimeo上你可以为视频设置观看密码。
3. 3. 回到summer sessions申请页面选择你现在的居住地。艺术家只有在居住国具有人才网赞助机构的前题材才可以申请。
4. 4. 填写在线申请表格提供个人资料以及视频链接

重要日期
2013年5月10日为申请截止日期。请查询你居住地的赞助机构网页获取其详细日期,可能为另一截止日期。
2013年5月下旬,申请结果发布

TASML | Carroll Fletcher Chinese Artist Residence Award Call for Proposals

This call is open to all Chinese artists including Taiwan, Hong Kong and Chinese nationals living / working overseas.
Deadline: May 10, 2013, Application must be submitted in English, and the applicant must have sufficient knowledge of English language for communication
With the generous support of Carroll / Fletcher Gallery, a London based contemporary art gallery, TASML is pleased to announce its new artist residence award: TASML | Carroll Fletcher Chinese Artist Residence Award. The award will provide emerging Chinese media artists with an unique opportunity to engage with cutting edge research and production at the intersection of art, science and technology in some of the most innovative media art and design laboratories around the world. From March 2013 until February 2015, two artists will be selected annually through an international open-call for proposal submissions. In collaboration with Summer Sessions: International Talent Development Network, the award allows the selected artists access to a wealth of global media art labs by their own choice of interest. The awardee will receive a stipend to cover production, travel, accommodation and living expenses in the residence country.
Applying for Summer Sessions
In collaboration with Summer Sessions TASML is pleased to announce a call for artist in residency proposals.
The Summer Sessions is a talent development network and the residencies are intended for early career artists, meaning the artist is under 35 years of age and/or graduated no more than 5 years before the time of applying.
The duration of a residency is roughly 6-8 weeks in the period between June 1st and September 30th.
As an artists, you can apply by submitting a video, in which you briefly explain your project, the support you need and why you should be a part of the Summer Sessions before the deadline.
The idea behind this residency program is that local sponsors support young artists from their country to go abroad and develop a work at a host institute. Each Summer Sessions artist commits him/herself to the production of a presentable residency output. As an artists you can only apply if one of the partners in the talent development network is based in their country of residence.
Please follow the application steps:
1. Create a 2 minute video explaining your project.
2. Upload your video to a service like Youtube or Vimeo. Note that on Youtube you can make the video ‘unlisted’ so it can not be found without knowing the URL. On Vimeo you can set a password.
3. Come back here and select your country of residence. You can only apply if you live in one of the countries in which a sponsor institute is located.
4. Fill out the online application form to provide your personal details and the link to the online video proposal.
Important Dates
May 10, 2013: application deadline. However, always check the page of your sponsor for specific details, there might be other deadlines.
Late May 2013: notification of acceptance.
